CNMTC has long experience in testing of motorcycle, its engine and components. Now it has more than 98 staffs, of which 80% are technical personnel included : 5 professorial senior engineers, 21 senior engineers, 27 engineers and 14 factory auditing experts for China Compulsory Certification etc. All of technical personnel for testing have been special trained, and have rich experience and knowledge in test fields.
CNMTC has perfectly organization, soundly management system, and advanced testing equipments, the main test facilities were imported from Japan, Germany and Denmark, the functions of these facilities are excellent and have advanced testing methods. In November 2003, CNMTC was moved to XI'AN city from Baoji County. Now CNMTC has four test buildings. The construction area is about 12,300 ㎡, of which the head office in XI'an is about 8,700 ㎡ and the subsection in Baoji County is 3,600 ㎡. CNMTC possesses a proving ground. With 3 chassis dynamometer and exhaust emission test systems test rooms, 6 engine dynamometer test rooms and other 8 test rooms for EMC, whole vehicle endurance and performance, dimension and mass, engine noise, lamps, components including rear view mirror, lock and horn and climatic test, CNMTC can carry out all kinds of performance tests for motorcycle (scooter and mopeds), motorcycle engine and components.
Cooperating with Chang'an University, according to international standard, CNMTC also established a proving ground which covers an area of 280,000㎡ with standard noise test site, performance test tracks and all kinds of typical tracks. It can do each test of road performance, durability and endurance.
CNMTC mainly specialize in testing for motorcycle, scooter, moped, its engines, components, motor-driven cycle and its engine and can carry out safety and environment protection items, performance, durability and endurance tests for all kinds of motorcycle and engine per China national standards (GB), ECE regulations, EC directives, ISO, EPA, TRIAS and JIS standards and exhaust emission test for light-duty vehicle. Now CNMTC has been regarded as one of the most authoritative and powerful test center for motorcycle, its engine and components in China.
